Argus™ intrinsically safe level switches

are designed to provide reliable liquid level control in demanding environments. They offer two installation options: one with cable glands for secure connection or a flying lead for faster installation.

     Although the switch configurations for this level switch range are limited, they are built with robust housing to ensure durability and are proven to deliver long-term reliability with a SIL rating. These level switches can be effectively used for various applications involving hydraulics, water, chemicals, fuel oil, and other liquids.

     They are particularly well-suited for applications such as water storage or cooling water for radiators, where precise liquid level control is necessary.

Intrinsically Safe Level Switch Specifications:

     - High and low level settings with an option for pump control, allowing for versatile control of liquid levels.
     - The reed level switch variant offers a dual float option for enhanced functionality.
     - The level switch is available with a housing made of PPS (engineering polymer) or stainless steel, meeting IP66 and IP67 standards for protection against environmental factors.
     - Two connector options are available: DIN 43650 connector or M12 Circular connector, providing convenient electrical connections.

are designed to provide reliable and safe liquid level measurement in hazardous areas. They are available in flameproof Ex d or intrinsically safe ia options, making them suitable for use in environments with hydraulics, water, chemicals, fuel oil, or any other liquid.

     These level switches feature multiple switch configurations to accommodate various applications. They are built with a robust housing to withstand tough environments and have a proven track record of long-term reliability with a SIL rating.

The Flameproof and Intrinsically Safe Level Switch Specifications are as follows:
     ATEX & IECEx Flameproof CEII2GD Exd IIC option:Temperature ratings: T6 Ta = -50 to +74°C and T5 Ta = -50 to +89°C.
     ATEX & IECEx CEII1G Exia IIC option:Temperature ratings: T6 Ta = -50 to +78°C, T5 Ta = -50 to +93°C, and T4 Ta = -50 to +128°C.

General Features:
     - The level switches are equipped with either 1 x SPDT microswitch or 2 x SPDT microswitches for simultaneous operation.
     - They have an internal or calibrated adjustment scale for precise level measurement.
     - The switchcase is made of black anodised aluminum, meeting IP66 and IP67 standards for protection against environmental factors.
     - These level switches have been proven and documented to meet SIL 2 IEC 61508 suitability standards.
